Henry Odi was a four-time All-PSAC Eastern Division team selection in soccer. He was the team’s leading scorer for four years, a team captain for three years and the team MVP for two years.
Odi was a Holmes Scholar from 1992 to 1996. The Holmes Scholarship is a national academic merit scholarship for doctoral degree students in higher education. In 1995, he earned a doctorate in education from Lehigh University
He has been a faculty member at Lehigh University for 17 years.
Odi is a member of the National Physical Sciences Consortium, National Council on Undergraduate Research, Council on Graduate Studies and the Phi Beta Delta honor society.
He was recognized by former Governor Robert Casey for co-founding a Model University/School/Business Partnership Academic Program.
He co-founded the Lehigh Valley Science and Engineering Research Fair. Odi is the director of the STAR Academy, a partnership program for middle and high school students.
Along with his doctorate, Odi has a bachelor’s degree in business administration. In 1983, he received a master’s in education from Millersville and a master’s in counseling/guidance from Bloomsburg.
