Kathryn Hill served Millersville with distinction in numerous athletic coaching and administrative capacities.

She guided the Millersville State College women’s tennis team for eight years (1961-68) and compiled a 28-14-1 overall record, featuring a string of three consecutive undefeated seasons (5-0 in 1966, 4-0-1 in 1967, and 7-0 in 1968). She also served as head coach for the MSC women’s basketball team for two years and was a one-season mentor with the Marauder field hockey program.

As Dean of Women, she took a keen interest in her students' educational and social well-being and formed lasting friendships with many. She also had oversight for the social events calendar at the College.
