Scott Martin was a four-year letterman for the football team. Martin played on the 1990 and 1993 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division championships teams.

He was named All-PSAC Eastern Division First Team three times and All-ECAC Division II twice. In 1992, he was NCAA All-America honorable mention by Don Hansen’s Football Gazette. One year later, Martin was a NCAA Division II/Kodak All-American First Team selection. He also played in the Division II All-Star Game that same year.

As a wrestler, Martin spent two years on the team. He placed third at the 1991 NCAA Division I East Regionals.

Martin was a free agent signing with the New York Giants in 1994. He played two seasons in the Arena Football League with the Memphis Pharaohs (1995) and the Iowa Barnstormers (1996). He was the 1998 Toughman Competition heavyweight champion. Martin became the Lancaster Golden Gloves boxing champion in 1999.

Martin, who has a bachelor’s degree in sociology, was the director of the Lancaster County Youth Intervention Center at the time of induction.
