Among the most dominant offensive forces in Millersville women’s lacrosse history, Liz Weekley holds Millersville’s career points record and was a three-time All-PSAC selection.

Weekley totaled 225 points in her Millersville career, breaking a 22-year old Millersville record. She also totaled 171 goals, ranking second all-time.

As a sophomore in 2008, Weekley scored 68 goals, breaking the single-season goals record which had been held by hall of famer Cherie Meiklejohn since 1990.  She led the PSAC in goals per game that season, and her 76 points scored also tied Meiklejohn’s record from 19 years earlier. Weekley is the only player in program history with two seasons of at least 67 points.

While opponents looked to take away Weekley’s goal scoring in 2009 and 2010, she still managed to score 75 goals and she found ways to make an offensive impact. She totaled a team-leading 23 assists in 2009—a total that ranks seventh in Millersville history. She now ranks fifth in career assists with 54 and is one of only two players to rank in the school’s top five in career goals, assists and points.

Weekley was named All-PSAC East First Team in 2008 and to the second team in 2009 and 2010. She also earned IWLCA All-America Second Team honors as a sophomore, becoming the first Marauder All-American in five years and one of two since.

Weekley graduated in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in speech communication and a minor in athletic coaching. She is currently living in Conshohocken, Pa., and working toward entrance into a master’s program for occupation therapy.
