An outstanding student-athlete, Bob Bradfield helped fuel the Millersville men's basketball team to a glittering 96-26 overall record (45-7 PSAC Eastern Division mark) during his Marauder cage career.

Playing the point guard position, Bradfield amassed a MU record 544 assists. He set a single game record in 1986 when he recorded 15 assists against Edinboro, and also totaled 187 helpers in 1987-88, the second-highest season total in team history.

Bradfield's leadership sparked MU to PSAC tournament championships in 1987 and 1989, and PSAC East crowns in '86, '87 and '89. He was co-captain of the 1988-89 Marauder team that captured the NCAA Division II East Region title and advanced to the Elite Eight in Springfield, Mass.

In addition to his prodigious assist marks, Bradfield ranks in the top 15 all-time at MU in three-point field goals (119) and three point percentage (.425). He shot 49 percent from three-point range in his junior season (1988-89). He also is ninth all-time in steals (131). He scored 918 career points.

In 2000, Bradfield was voted among the 30 top players on the 100 Years of Millersville Men's Basketball Team during the program's centennial celebration. The 1988-89 Marauder squad was also voted as the finest in team annals.

Academically, Bradfield was named to the GTE-CoSIDA Academic All-America Team in 1988 and 1989, and was a U.S. Achievement Academy Scholar All-American in 1987 and 1988. He was named to Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges in his senior year (1988-89), and was a five-time dean's list student. he earned PSAC Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors in 1988.

Bradfield served as an account executive for Lancaster County United Way in 1996 and was a loan executive in 1991. Today, Bob serves as a sales representative for Aventis Pharmaceutical, Inc.
