A three-time NCAA Division I Championships qualifier and one of only six wrestlers in Millersville history with more than 100 victories, Jarrett Hostetter was a force on the mat for the Marauders.

Wrestling the majority of his career at 157 pounds, Hostetter posted a 102-41 (.713) career record, ranking fourth in Millersville history in wins. He scored three seasons with at least 24 victories. Hostetter won the NCAA East Regional title at 157 pounds as a junior in 2008 and again as redshirt senior in 2010. He also reached the NCAA Championships in 2007. He remains one of only three wrestlers in Millersville history to qualify for the NCAA Division I Championships three times.

In the ultra-competitive PSAC, Hostetter placed at the championships three times, scoring a runner-up finish as a senior. His senior season included a 24-7 record with four of those losses coming against national qualifiers. He won the Wilkes Open and went 11-2 in duals. At the NCAA East Regional, held in Pucillo Gymnasium, Hostetter ran through the bracket and was named the event’s most outstanding wrestler. At the NCAA Championships, he defeated his first round opponent, Turtogtokh Luvsandorj of The Citadel.

Hostetter redshirted during the 2008-09 season but took top-three finishes in four tournaments wrestling unattached. The season prior, in 2007-08, Hostetter posted a 34-6 record, winning the “Shorty” Hitchcock Memorial Classic, placing fourth at the PSAC Championships and taking third at the Mat Town Open. His 34 wins were the most by a Marauder in 13 years and still ranks as the sixth-most wins in a single season at Millersville.

As a freshman in 2005-06, Hostetter led the team in wins, placed fifth at the PSAC Championships and came within one victory of the NCAA Championships.

Hostetter earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2010 and is employed by his family business Hostetter Grain, Inc., in Oxford, Pa. Hostetter is married to Millersville alum and former field hockey player Meredith Dolinger Hostetter, and the couple has two sons and a daughter.
