NO DOUBTER as Pickett walks it off on Senior Day

GAME 1: 5-10 (BLOOM)
Millersville took an early lead in the bottom of the first inning. Carly Vaughan delivered a one-out single that drove in Langer and Pickett from second and first base.
Pezzone started in the circle and produced one of her strongest outings of the season, holding Bloomsburg scoreless through three innings. The Huskies broke through in the fourth inning with three hits that resulted in two runs.
Millersville responded in the bottom half of the inning. Watlington singled to left field, scoring Cara Mazzucco to regain the lead. Black followed with a double, placing both runners in scoring position. Soucy then added a sacrifice fly to extend the lead to 4-2.
Bloomsburg regained control in the fifth and sixth innings. After scoring one run in the fifth, the Huskies added six runs on seven hits in the sixth inning to take a 10-4 lead.
Millersville added one run in the seventh on a sacrifice fly by Pickett, but the deficit proved too large to overcome. Black led the Marauders offensively with three hits.
GAME 2: 6-5 (VILLE)
Millersville opened game two with immediate offensive production. Jocelyn Langer tripled and advanced for an inside-the-park home run, giving the Marauders an early lead.

Bloomsburg responded with home runs in the second and fourth innings to take a 2-1 lead. Millersville answered in the fourth inning when Jiana Maniscalco singled with the bases loaded, scoring Vaughan. Cecilia McBeth reached on an infield error that brought in another run, and Watlington added a pinch-hit sacrifice fly to give Millersville a 4-2 advantage.
Bloomsburg reclaimed the lead in the fifth inning, scoring three runs on four hits.
In the final inning, Millersville recorded two quick outs before Langer reached base on a walk. Pickett then hit a 1-0 pitch over the fence for a walk-off home run, securing a 6-5 victory.

Pezzone earned the win as Millersville remained eighth in the PSAC East standings. The Marauders are scheduled to host West Chester for a doubleheader on Tuesday afternoon.
