Pickett named to the D2CCA All-America Third Team

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - Head Coach Jen Probst added another All-American to the Marauder softball program as sophomore standout Lexi Pickett earned recognition from the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) as a Third Team All-American.
Pickett played in all 52 games while making 47 starts during the season. Most of her starts came in the designated player role, while also making several appearances behind the plate. Through the opening 16 non-conference games, Pickett posted a .605 batting average with 23 hits and five home runs, earning a spot on the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Player of the Year Watch List.
She finished the season with a .420 batting average, a 1.428 OPS, and a .913 slugging percentage while totaling 58 hits, 18 home runs, 14 doubles, and 48 RBIs. Pickett also led the Marauders with 38 runs scored.
The Biglerville native continued to excel throughout her sophomore campaign, finishing atop the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) in three offensive categories: home runs, slugging percentage, and OPS. She also ranked among the top six in four additional categories: on-base percentage, RBIs, batting average, and doubles. Her performance earned her All-PSAC East First Team honors as a designated player.
Pickett added to her list of accomplishments in May, earning NFCA and D2CCA All-Atlantic Region First Team honors before receiving All-American recognition. Aleese Angelo was the last Marauder to earn All-American honors in 2023 and 2024.
