2013 (Game-by-Game): Had a breakout year in her first season with the team as a junior transfer...Batted .306, collecting 34 hits in 111 at-bats while playing 45 games with 40 starts in the corner outfield spots...Scored 21 runs, drove in 13 more and had four doubles and two triples in her 34 hits...Was the team's most important player running the bases, stealing 18 bases in 21 attempts, both team-highs by a wide margin...Stole two or more bases three separate times and had two or more hits six times...Opened the year with a 14-game hitting streak that ended at Mount Olive on March 20...Had a huge second game of a doubleheader at Goldey-Beacom March 27, going 2-for-3 with two runs scored, two RBIs, a double and two stolen bases...On April 4 at Lincoln (Pa.), the first game of the doubleheader saw her go 2-for-3 again with two more runs scored, an RBI, a double, triple and a stolen base.

Prior to Millersville: Attended Lackawanna College from 2009-11 and was a member of the volleyball and softball teams.

High School: Played softball at McCaskey.

Personal: Daughter of Hector Ortiz and Luz Marrero...Has four sisters; Girey, Keichaly, Kimberly and Greichaly...Majoring in industrial technology (ITEC).
