• PSAC Scholar-Athlete (2019, 2020)

2020 (Junior)

• NCAA and PSAC canceled spring seasons on March 13 because of coronavius pandemic. 
• Team-leader in on base percentage hitting, doubles and runs scored through nine games. 
• Had recorded at least one hit in six of the first nine games and had produced three multi-hit games. 
• Went 3-for-4 and hit a homer in game two of the season against Southern Connecticut State.
• Drove in a run and scored onced as part of a 2-for-3 game one at Jefferson. 
• Named PSAC Scholar-Athlete.

2019 (Sophomore)

• Played all 51 games and starting 50 at third base.
• Made an instant impact on the team and finished the year batting .307 with a team-high 34 runs scored.
• Led the team in walks (25), third most all-time in a single season.
• Had the highest on-base percentage (.443) on the team.
• Recorded eight doubles, seven home runs and 30 RBIs.
• Went 2-for-2 on stolen base attempts.
• Posted a season-high four runs batted in against Concord.
• Pitched 1/3 innings against Augustana (SD) and Auburn of Montgomery.
• Had 13 multi-hit games and eight multi-RBI games.
• Reached base in 13-straight games, longest streak of any Marauder during the season.
• Posted a .906 fielding percentage.
• Hit a grand slam, her first home run as a Marauder, in 9-5 win over Concord.
• Named PSAC Scholar-Athlete.

2018 (Freshman)

Monmouth 

• Hit .450 in the fall season.
• Scored five runs and stole two bases in her spring season.
• Helped her squad win the conference championship with a 19-1 record.
• Appeared in the NCAA regional against Tennessee.

High School

• Named Player of the Year in 2017 while adding a first team All-Conference and All-State honor.
• A Carpenter Cup selection in 2016.
• Named all-conference and all-state honoree in her junior year.
• Tied the season high home run record in her sophomore season.
• Received Rookie of the Year in 2014.
• Had a .425 batting percentage with five home runs and a .950 fielding percentage in her sophomore season.
• Led the team in home runs, RBIs, and lead the conference in ERA in 2016.
• Finished her high school career with a 2.15 ERA in the circle while hitting a .390 batting average and hitting five home runs in her senior season.
• Helped her team to a three-time conference championships in 2014, 2015 and 2017.
• Earned second place in districts and state appearances in 2014.

Personal 

• Daughter of Sam and Heather Battavio.
• Has two younger sisters named Gabriella and Alana.
• Majoring in early and special education.

About The Marauder 

• Why Millersville:  I chose Millersville because of the opportunities the education program provided and the softball program could give me. 
• Favorite class or professor:  My favorite classes at Millersville are all of my education classes. 
• Off the field hobbies: My hobbies besides softball are going to the gym, crafting, and shopping.
• Interesting summer job or internship: In the summer I work at a country club as a waitress. 
• Favorite professional athletes: My favorite professional athletes are Bryce Harper and Carson Wentz. 
• Favorite series to binge watch:  My favorite series to binge watch is American Horror Story.
• Pregame ritual: My pregame ritual is visualization and listening to a pregame playlist to hype myself up.
