2015 (Game-by-Game): Was the team's best hitter in 2015 after she started all 45 of the team's games at shortstop while leading the Marauders in batting average (.294), at-bats (143), runs scored (27), hits (42), doubles (12), home runs (7), total bases (75), and slugging percentage (.524)...Was also second on the squad in RBIs (18), walks (8), stolen bases (5), assists (91), tied for third in hit-by-pitches (3), tied for third in sacrifice hits (5), and fourth in putouts (63)...Tied for the team's lead in stolen bases attempted at seven...Became the program's all-time leader in home runs with 14, is tied for sixth in assists (277), still tied for seventh in triples (4), ninth in runs scored (86), and 10th in slugging percentage (.458)...As far as the single-season record books are concerned, her seven round-trippers are tied for the most in a season with Meghan Sinback (2007) and 12 doubles are tied for seventh...Tallied eight multiple-hit games (tied for second on the team), three multiple-RBI games (tied for third), had the longest hitting streak of anyone on the team at 10 games, and ended the season by reaching base in 16-consecutive games, which was more than anyone on the team...The 10-game hitting streak came from April 12 through April 18 and in that stretch, the junior shortstop went 14-for-34 (.412) at the plate including her best game of the season, a 3-of-3 performance on April 12 at East Stroudsburg when she also had two runs scored, two RBIs, a double, a home run, and a walk...That hitting streak boosted Sheffield's average up to .299 from .258 (41 points) and her average was as high as .323 on March 10 and .302 on April 17 as part of the season-long hitting streak.
2014 (Game-by-Game): Appeared in all 48 games and made 46 starts at shortstop for the Marauders in 2014...Hit .250 with 36 hits in her 144 at-bats to go with a team-leading 35 runs scored, five doubles, two triples, three homeruns (tied for team lead), and 14 RBIs...Slugged .375, tallied eight walks, eight hit-by-pitches (first on the team), one sacrifice fly, two sacrifice hits, three stolen bases, and an on-base percentage of .323...Those 35 runs scored are good for the seventh-most in a season in Millersville history...Now tied for sixth for triples in a career with four and she tied the program's single season record for hit-by-pitches with eight...Tied for second on the team in at-bats (144), triples (2), walks (8), fourth in total bases (54)...Had a .924 fielding percentage with 13 errors in 170 chances...For statistical rankings in the PSAC, Sheffield was tied for second in hit-by-pitches, tied for eighth in triples and tied for ninth in runs scored...Nine multiple-hit games, tied for first on the team in multiple-RBI games with five, a hitting streak of four games, and her longest streak of reaching base was five games...Best game came against Chowan on Feb. 23 when she was 3-for-3 with three runs scored and a double...Was named PSAC East Player of the Week once.
2013 (Game-by-Game): Made an immediate impact as a freshman, starting every game at shortstop and being arguably the team's best offensive player...Tied for the team lead with a .331 average and had a team-leading 48 hits...Slugged an impressive .476 from the shortstop position, putting up five doubles, two triples and four homers...Scored 24 runs, second on the team and drove in 16, fourth on the team...Drew eight walks, third-best on the team and important from her leadoff position in the lineup...Had 145 at-bats, second-most on the team...Stole seven bases in eight attempts...Had 12 multi-hit games, including a season-high three hits twice...Had a 15-game hitting streak from Mar. 19-Apr. 4...Hit her first career homer against W.Va. Wesleyan on Mar. 16, driving in two runs and scoring one...At Chowan on March 22, had a 3-for-4 game at the plate in game two, including a double, a run scored and a stolen base...Went a perfect 3-for-3 with a run scored and two stolen bases on Mar. 30 against Philadelphia...Had a monster day at Lincoln (Pa.) on April 4 combining for a 4-for-7 performance in the two games with two walks, two home runs (one in each game), five runs scored and five RBIs...Powered her fourth home run of the season over the wall in a 2-for-4 performance in an April 19 game at Kutztown in the second game of the day's doubleheader...Had two hits in each game of the season's final doubleheader at home against West Chester on April 27.
High School: Two-sport athlete in softball and soccer won four varsity letters at Oxford...Helped her team win the District Championship as a sophomore...As a freshman, was named to All-Area and All-State honorable mention lists...During sophomore year, collected All-Area and All-State Second Team honors...As a junior and senior, was named to the All-Area and All-State First Teams, as well as being voted the team's MVP in 2012.
