Pickett recognized on NFCA Division II watchlist for player of the year

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The NFCA has released its 2026 Division II Player and Pitcher of the Year Watchlist. Sophomore Lexi Pickett has been recognized in the Atlantic Region for her strong offensive start to the 2026 season. A total of 15 players were selected from each region, with representation spanning eight regions nationwide. Pickett is one of eight student-athletes from the PSAC named to the Atlantic Region list.
Pickett is having a breakout season in her sophomore campaign. She is currently batting .507 and leads the Marauders in all major offensive categories, including 37 hits, 26 RBIs, nine home runs, and a 1.591 OPS. She also leads the PSAC in five categories: batting average, slugging percentage, on-base percentage, OPS, and home runs.
The Player and Pitcher of the Year awards will be voted on by the NFCA committee, with the announcement scheduled for May 27, one day prior to the start of the NCAA Division II National Championship.
