ABOUT THE GAME

Both of these teams are coming off huge wins in their last outings that took place on Wednesday night. Millersville took down PSAC East second seed Kutztown in a five-point game whereas Bloomsburg took down Mansfield by 25 points. Millersville, who currently sits at the six seed in the PSAC East garnered a huge win on Wednesday night courtesy of strong nights for Morgan Mahoney, who had 14 points and 9 rebounds, and Daniella Ranielli, who had 13 points. The Marauders didn't have the best shooting night in the win, but a win regardless has them right back in the mix and with a win Saturday they could be tied for the second seed in the PSAC East with wins over Kutztown and Bloomsburg who are currently above them. Bloomsburg tied their season high in points on Wednesday night and come face to face with a Marauders defense who has only allowed 70 points in three games this season.

GAME STORYLINES

Millersville is coming into this matchup with a 5-2 record in PSAC East play, with their only losses coming to number one seeded Lock Haven and Pitt-Johnstown. With another big win this past Wednesday against Kutztown, the Marauders have their sights set on rising in the standings against Bloomsburg. Bloomsburg has been off to a solid start this season with a 10-7 record and currently sits at the three seed in the PSAC East.
Daniella Ranilei leads the Marauders in scoring with 12.9 points per game, 2.5 assists per game, and 1.7 steals per game. The offense has been supplemental around the freshman, with multiple players stepping up on any given night. Bryn Zentner, averages 9.1 points and 7.9 rebounds per game, Carley Berk, averages 7.8 points per game, Morgan Mahoney, averages 7.3 points per game and 4.3 rebounds, and finally Kelly Cleaver, who can get a double-double on any given night and averages 6.8 points and 6.4 rebounds per game. These four players are all pivotal pieces of the offensive equation for the Marauders.
Bloomsburg averages 59.5 points per game which plays in favor of the Marauders who are giving up 65.8 points per game to opponents. Millersville on the other hand have been getting it done offensively and average 64.4 points per game while Bloomsburg concedes only 59.6.
Bloomsburg is coming into the game after a huge win against Mansfield, but the Marauders look to continue to rise above .500 and hopefully find themselves in a high seed at the end of the weekend.
