ABOUT THE MARAUDERS
• The Millersville University men's soccer team returns home to host Slippery Rock on Homecoming Saturday. The Marauders are ranked 10th in the Atlantic Region according to the United Soccer Coaches poll, which was released on Tuesday. The Marauders defeated Mercyhurst in a high-scoring affair (4-3) on Saturday. The two team are separated by just three points in the PSAC standings.
• Millersville is in the second half of its 2018 schedule with two more home games and a total of five games remaining in the regular season.
• The Marauders sit in a tie for fifth place in the conference standings while The Rock are second to last with seven points.
• The Marauders are coming off a 1-0 win at Mercyhurst that saw three season-highs as a team with 11 points, tying a season-high in goals with four and three assists.
• Ten Millersville players have scored a goal. The senior duo of Chase Flickinger and Jaxson Burns leads the team with four goals each. Flickinger is leading the team in points (11).
• Junior Jacob Gosselin is a point away from Burns with nine, totaling three goals and three assists.
• Freshman Spencer Shortt leads the team with five assists. Shortt is tied for second in points against conference opponents.
• Junior goalkeeper Darian McCauley has totaled a 1.22 goals against average and a 0.761 save percentage. Against conference opponents, McCauley has allowed eight goals and totaled a 1.26 goals against average while facing 23 shots.

• Junior Chase Flickinger and sophomore Jacob Gosselin scored two goals apiece in the first half.
• Both teams recorded eight shots. Millersville had six on net compared to The Rock's two.
• Goalkeeper Darian McCauley saved two shots.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
• Slippery Rock enters Saturday's contest with a 4-7-2 overall record and a 2-3-1 record in conference play. The Rock is 10th in the league with seven points--three point behind of the Marauders.
• On Tuesday, The Rock lost to Walsh 1-0 in overtime. George Oakley tallied three shots and one on goal in the loss. The squad is currently on a two-game losing streak, coming off a 4-1 loss against Bloomsburg over last weekend.
• The squad has averaged 1.08 goals against average but allowed 1.38 goals per game for their opponents.
• Oakley and Luke Picchi lead the team, recording seven points each.
• In net, Matt Hunsberger has started all 13 matches and has posted a record of 4-7-2. He ranks sixth in the PSAC for goals against (1.25), fifth in save percentage (.770), and is tied for second in the league in shutouts with four.
