Softball Receives Academic Honors from NFCA

Louisville, Ky. - Five Millersville softball players were named NCAA Division II All-America Scholar Athletes on Thursday by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) while the squad was on the list of All-Academic Teams with a cumulative GPA of 3.247.
Taylor Odell-Smith, Mandy Hammond, Brianna Andraos, Brittany Smith, and Melanie Snyder were all on the list and all five were also named PSAC Scholar-Athletes at the conclusion of the 2013-14 year. On the field, Andraos was an All-PSAC East First Team performer and both her and Smith received Second Team All-Atlantic Region honors by Daktronics and the NFCA, respectively.
