Soccer Teams Assisting Bloomsburg in Relief Efforts

Bloomsburg, Pa. - The Bloomsburg University Athletic Department will be collecting items and fund to aid in cleanup and recovery from the devastating floods that have affected the Bloomsburg area at the Huskies two home soccer games on Wednesday against Millersville.
Items that are in desperate need for the cleanup are buckets, mops, brooms, trash bags, bleach, gloves, sponges, masks, and shovels.
Also, anyone wishing to donate school supplies for children in area schools can do so as well. Items that are needed are pens, pencils, paper, notebooks, or other small school supply items.
In addition Bloomsburg University Athletics will be collecting donations for the flood relief. Anyone donating by check is asked to make the check payable to AGAPE and write in the memo of the check: Disaster Relief.
The Huskies women's soccer team will play on Wednesday at 5 p.m. with the men's game to follow at 7:30 p.m.
