Darian McCauley, the MVP of Millersville's 2019 PSAC Championship, joined the coaching staff as a volunteer prior to the 2021 season.
McCauley, a star goalkeeper for the Marauders and native of York, Pa., pursued a professional career after his graduation from Millersville in 2020. McCauley was signed by the Charleston Battery of the USL Championship. He also signed with Reading United in 2020.
In 2021, McCauley also joined the Lancaster Inferno FC coaching staff.
McCauley was in goal for Millersville's back-to-back PSAC Championship wins in 2018 and 2019. He was named All-PSAC First Team in 2018 and was a two-time United Soccer Coaches All-Atlantic Region selection. McCauley tied the school record for career shutouts and finished his career wth 42 wins--the second-most in program history.
