WEST CHESTER, Pa. --- Four double-digit scorers lifted the Millersville Marauders past the West Chester Golden Rams in a much-needed get-right, PSAC East game. Leading the way for the Marauders were Daniella Ranieli (19 points), Bryn Zentner (11 points), Carley Berk (11 points), and Gabby Bowes (10 points).
Coming off their 30-plus point loss to East Stroudsburg, the Marauders were looking to right the ship against 10-9 West Chester and were able to do just that in their pursuit to climb the ranks of the PSAC East.
Millersville jumped out to a huge lead, outscoring the Golden Rams 41-21 and leading by 20 going into the half. Despite the Marauders' hot start, shooting a white hot 60.0% from the field in the first half, West Chester surged back in the fourth quarter courtesy of a full-court press that proved too much for the Marauders to handle. The Marauders turned the ball over eight times in the fourth quarter, resulting in 14 fourth-quarter points for West Chester.
The Marauders ultimately hung on to beat the Golden Rams 73-59, improving to 11-9 on the season and winning the first game of their regular-season series with West Chester.
