STROUDSBURG, Pa. --- After being locked even at 13 after the first quarter, East Stroudsburg sparked a 17-2 run in the last eight minutes of the second quarter to pull away and even the season series against the Marauders.
After a stalemate in the first quarter at 13-13, Millersville went on a dry spell in the second quarter, only putting up nine points, and in the final eight minutes of the half, were outscored 17-2 by the Warriors. Millersville tried to claw back with a full-court press, but the lead was too great for the Marauders to overcome, leaving the Warriors in the driver's seat pretty much the rest of the way.
Millersville had four scorers in double digits with Morgan Mahoney (12), Daniella Ranieli (12), Carley Berk (12), and Kelly Cleaver (11).
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Three different Marauders accounted for 36 of the 54 Millersville points in Mahoney, Ranieli, and Berk.
