
Women's Tennis Slams Lebanon Valley

Hilton Head, S.C. – Millersville women's tennis gained its first win of spring play on Tuesday against the Lebanon Valley Dutchmen, winning by a 7-2 final score.
The Marauders won four of six singles matches. No. 1 Sarah Sambrick defeated Lebanon Valley's Rebecca Pierpont, 6-0, 6-3. Nicole Daacke, Kimberly Theophile, and Kaylora Thompson also contributed to points toward the win.
Millersville swept the doubles line-up. The No. 2 team of Theophile and Thompson defeated Ariana Freeman and Alyssa Potosnak, 8-2. The duo of Kelley Hershey and Jessica Crilley won in a close match against Dutchmen Elizabeth Drda and Allison Weidman that ended with a score of 9-7.
Millersville continues its matches in Hilton Head, S.C. against Carroll on Wednesday, March 9.
