Seton Hill, Pennsylvania - Despite a late goal from Jeramey Robbins, Millersville could not come back from a 2-0 deficit, falling at Seton Hill 2-1 Saturday. Darian McCauley totaled eight saves and the Millersville offense only mustered three shots on goal.
The Marauders looked to strike early, as Nathan Delgado put a shot on goal in the third minute of the game, but it was saved by Austin Iddon. The Griffins earned a pair of corner kicks and finally broke the scoreless tie in the 34th when Curtis Gallagher finished a rebound to put Seton HIll ahead 1-0.
Millersville earned a corner kick early in the second, but could not convert and Seton Hill quickly doubled their lead whe Rory McKinnon found the back of the net in the 59th.
The Marauders began to control the pace of the game and in the 72nd, Jacob Gosselin found Jeramey Robbins who drilled a shot to pull Millersville to within one goal. The last real chance Millersville had was a corner kick in the 82nd minute that was turned away by the Griffins defense.
Millersville falls to 10-4-2 (5-3-2 PSAC) and remains on the road, facing the tough Mercyhurst Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
