Jovan Edwards rejoined the Millersville women's basketball team's coaching staff as a volunteer assistant in the midst of the 2014-15 basketball season after he was on the staff for the 2011-12 and 2012-13 seasons.
Edwards previously played varsity high school basketball at Monsignor Bonner High School from 2004-07 and Penn Wood High School in 2008. At Penn Wood, Edwards was selected as an All-DelVal Honorable Mention pick as a senior and was 10th in his class standing.

He is currently the head coach of the Jr. Divas, a seventh and eighth grade girl's basketball team in Lancaster. Edwards graduated from Millersville with a dual business major and concentration in marketing/management. He also earned a minor in athletic coaching, was the president of the Eta Kappa chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc., founder of IT magazine, and member of MCM (Millersville Concerned Men).

Jovan is the son of Emelyn and John Edwards. He has four sisters: Simone, Jessica, Jonshea and Janay.
