2016-17: Started in 20 of 21 games while ranking second on the team in minutes played (606)...Led the team in defensive rebounds (117) and total rebounds (147) as well as blocks (36)...Corralled a season-high 15 rebounds against Seton Hill...Was a versatile scorer despite playing the 4 or 5 position and had the second best three point shooting percentage on the team...Ranked third on the team with 23 steals...Tied her career-high when she scored 21 points against East Stroudsburg...She shot 50 percent from the field including 67 percent from the three point line against East Stroudsburg...Recorded double-doubles against Virginia State, Kutztown and East Stroudsburg.

2015-16 (Game-by-Game): Averaged 9.1 points per game on the season ranking her third among Marauders…Scored 245 points and added 24 assists on the year…Shot 41 percent from the field and 29 percent from three…At the free throw line, she shot 66 percent...Averaged 5.9 rebounds per game, which was the tied for third most on the team as well…Started all 27 games she played in…Recorded 32 blocks on the season, leading all of Millersville and bringing her blocks per game average up to 1.2…Was top 150 in the nation in blocks per game and 12th in the PSAC…Tallied three or more blocks three times on the season…Scored in double figures 11 times including in six of the first eight games…Tallied a double-double of 16 points and 10 boards against Kutztown on Dec. 1…Hit 8-of-11 shots for a career-high 21 points and added 11 rebounds for second double-double of the season vs. Lock Haven in the PSAC Tournament.


2014-15 (Game-By-Game): Played in 26 of a possible 27 games for the 2014-15 season and made eight starts, all of which came in the final 14 games of the season including five starts in the lasts six contests...Experienced the best season of her career with averages of 6.1 points and 4.0 rebounds per game...Scored at least 10 points in six different games including a career-high 13 on Jan. 10 against Cheyney in which she also sank a personal-best four free throws...Saw a career-high 29 minutes of action in her hometown against Shippensburg on Jan. 17...Was the team's leading scorer for two games and its top rebounder for one...One of the better defensive players on the team as she was third in total rebounds (105), defensive rebounds (78) and blocked shots (19)...Was also fourth in 3-point field goal attempts (39), 3-point field goals made (8), free throw attempts (60), rebounds per game (4.0), and fifth in total points (158), points per game (6.1), field goal attempts (150), field goals made (58), and tied for fifth in offensive rebounds (27).

2013-14 (Game-By-Game): After missing her entire true freshman season because of an injury, Van Brakle proved to be a valuable asset off the bench for her redshirt freshman campaign...Appeared in 19 games and was third on the squad in blocked shots with 12...Had at least five rebounds six times including a career high 10 on Jan. 8 at Mercyhurst to go with 10 points when she recorded her first ever double-double and had a team-high in boards...Played double figure minutes in eight games...Shot 38.8 percent (19-of-49) from the floor, 33.3 percent (4-for-12) from behind the arc and 50 percent (7-of-14) at the free throw line...Had a career-high three steals on Feb. 12 against Mansfield.

2012-13: Received a redshirt due to injury.

High School: Three-sport athlete at Shippensburg won 10 total varsity letters in volleyball, basketball and soccer.

Personal: Daughter of John Van Brakle and Stacey Smith...Has one older sister, De'John and one younger sister, Jayla...Majoring in speech communication.
