Darryl Pollard joined Millersville's football staff as its defensive backs coach prior to the 2026 season.
Pollard, a native of Philadelphia, comes to Millersville after serving as a graduate assistant with the defensive back at Lock Haven in 2025. He helped the program to its most wins in 42 years.
Pollard was a four-year starter for Lock Haven and a two-time team captain. He played 41 games and logged 157 tackles, six interceptions and 32 passes defended in his career.
While completing his bachelor's degree in sports management, Pollard served as a gameday operations intern for Lock Haven. He's also served as a youth basketball coach and camp counselor since high school. Pollard is pursuing a master's degree in sports management through Liberty University.
