MILLERSVILLE, Pa. --- The Marauders welcomed national contender East Stroudsburg Warriors to Biemsderfer Stadium with wind conditions whipping around at first draw.
East Stroudsburgs' dominance through their opening seven games has been nothing short of impressive, but the Marauders came out early and kept things tight in the opening stanza of the game.
Despite East Stroudsburg jumping out to an early 3-0 lead, Kayleigh Dunn of the Marauders responded with the first of her two goals in the contest to keep it a 3-1 game. The Warriors would respond with two more goals to extend their lead to 5-1 to end the opening quarter.
After the first quarter, it was all Warriors, as they exploded for five unanswered goals in the second to take a 10-1 lead. The Marauders, despite the deficit, continued to battle back. Again, it was Kayleigh netting her second goal of the game on a nice underneath move to beat her defender for the easy score.
After that, the Warriors ran away with it and finished their impressive seven-game win streak with a 19-4 over the Marauders.
