Krebs and Moraca cap off Millersville career with All-PSAC East selections
4/29/2026 2:30:00 PM | Women's Lacrosse
Katlyn Krebs was a defensive anchor for the Marauders all season long and was a mainstay in the starting lineup for Head Coach Nicole Hinkle, whose coaching approach was that of a defensive one. Krebs accounted for a team-leading 16 caused turnovers, picked up 24 ground balls, and won a total of 54 draw controls, which pushed her over her career mark of 100 draw controls won. Krebs, who broke out in the 2025 season, built off a strong season and continued to bolster her résumé as the Marauders' go-to option for a stop. Of her 16 caused turnovers on the year, 12 of them were collected in conference play. Krebs' presence around the control circle was also undeniable. Once Krebs assumed the role outside of the control circle, she exploded for a career 111 draw controls over just two years of playing the position. Krebs ends her career as a Marauder with 114 draw controls, 110 ground balls, 68 caused turnovers, and a total of four career points as a defender, including her first career goal this season against East Stroudsburg.
When coaches talk about having a "Swiss Army knife" in terms of a type of player on the field, the archetype of Mary Moraca was that. Not only was Moraca dominant at taking draw controls for the Marauders this season and throughout her four years at Millersville, but she also eclipsed the 100-career-point mark in a game this year against West Chester. This year alone, Moraca was victorious on 84 draw controls, generated 22 offensive points with 18 goals and four assists, and was fourth on the team in caused turnovers with 12 as a midfielder. Moraca built off an impressive 2025 campaign where she won 111 draw controls and ended with 43 total offensive points. Moraca concludes her career with 262 draw controls, 108 points, 88 ground balls, and 48 caused turnovers.
