
Marauders drop away bout to Lock Haven

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. --- Millersville women's basketball (8-8, 4-6 PSAC) fell to Lock Haven (10-5, 6-3 PSAC) in an away match up Saturday afternoon to snap their four game winning streak.
The Marauders fifth game in nine days was a battle. Lock Haven led after a close first quarter 14-10, but the rest of the way was all Bald Eagles as the Marauders went cold from the field the rest of the way. The Marauders shot 27.9% from the field and were rarely able to connect from three shooting 27.8%. A bright spot for the Marauders today was Daniella Ranieli, who shot the ball efficiently and ended with a Marauder high 18 points on the day.
Down the stretch, the Marauders tried to battle back with a huge 19-point fourth quarter, but the Bald Eagles did not back down as they closed out the last quarter with 26 fourth quarter points. The Maraduers best shooting quarter by far was the fourth, as they shot 40.0% from the field and 60.0% from three.

The Maraduers will look to regroup after some much deserved rest against Kutztown at home on Wednesday night at 5:30 p.m.
