SCOUTING THE MARAUDERS

  • The Marauders are coming off a dominant indoor track and field season with Aliyah Striver, Hannah Woelfling, and Darian Hauf each earning All-Region selections from the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
  • Striver was named Field Athlete of the Meet at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships for the second time in her career. She took first place in the shot put (47-6 ½) and second in the weight throw (55-7 ¾).
  • Woelfling, who competed in the indoor NCAA Championships in the shot put and weight throw, is also the reigning outdoor rookie of the year in the PSAC. Woelfling won the PSAC indoor weight throw title with a mark of 59-8 ¼ last month.
  • Hauf, a standout freshman from Maryland, already owns the program record for the pole vault in both the indoor and outdoor seasons. She is coming off a PSAC Championship height of 12-9 ½ in last month’s conference championship meet.
  • As a team, the Marauders had their best finish in program history at the conference level, taking fourth place.
We are excited to host Metrics as its one of the few times we get to compete at home, and I think our team gets a boost when family and friends get to come see them. This is the season we train for all year. We are pretty pumped to see how far this team can go.
– Millersville Head Coach Andy Young
