MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - The 2025 Academic All-District® Women's Track & Field teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, which recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the track, in the field, and in the classroom, included five Millersville Marauders. The team's honorees include
Sarah Hessler,
Emily Massage,
Marissa Mounce,
Katelyn Murphy and
Mary Weiss.
All five Marauders are first-time selections after helping the program to a runner-up finish at the PSAC Outdoor Championships. To be eligible, athletes must hold a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher and rank in the region's top 50 in an individual event. Schools could nominate a maximum of five student-athletes.
Hessler, a junior early childhood education major, has a 3.91 GPA. Hessler starred at the PSAC Outdoor Championships, earning All-PSAC honors in the shot put, discus, and hammer throw. She ranked third in the region in discus and hammer and seventh in the shot put.
Massage, a senior early childhood education major with a 3.92 GPA, finished eighth in the 10,000-meter run at the PSAC Outdoor Championships. Her season-best time of 39:06.07 ranked 13th in the Atlantic Region. Massage also placed in the top 50 at the NCAA Cross Country Atlantic Regional in the fall.
Mounce, a sophomore, is a sports medicine major with a 3.89 GPA. She placed 17th in the 5,000-meter run at the PSAC Outdoor Championships and ranked 26th in the region with a time of 18:29.95.
Murphy, a sophomore psychology major, holds a 3.96 GPA and was the PSAC Outdoor Champion in the 100-meter hurdles. Her season-best time of 14.31 ranked eighth in the Atlantic Region.
Weiss, a junior, holds a 4.0 GPA in biology. She ranked 24th in the Atlantic Region in the 400-meter hurdles with a season-best time of 1:05.63

A total of 23 members of the Millersville track and field program held a GPA of 3.50 or higher after the 2025 season. The team posted a 3.38 GPA during the spring semester and has achieved a 3.45 cumulative GPA.
