
Men's soccer falls to Lock Haven on the road

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Millersville men's soccer team fell to Lock Haven on the road Wednesday night, 1-0.
The match saw strong defense from both sides as each team was only able to record one shot in the first 20 minutes of play and eight in the first half combined. 'Ville's only shot on-goal in the first half came 30 minutes in from Jake Altimore, which was saved by the Bald Eagle keeper.
The game's lone score came in the 33' when Austin Kravetz finished a cross from teammate, Tom Pombor.
Millersville saw additional offensive opportunities in the second half as Lock Haven opted to park the bus and play for the win. The Marauders sent in nine shots, five landing on-frame, but weren't able to beat the Lock Haven keeper, leading to their road loss.
Millersville drops below Lock Haven in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern division standings following the loss. The Marauders currently sit at No. 5 in the East, three points back of East Stroudsburg in the No. 3 spot.
