
Women's tennis loses on the road at Wilmington, 7-0

New Castle, Del. - Despite some strong doubles play, the Millersville University women's tennis team lost to the No. 5 team in the region, Wilmington University, on the road on Tuesday afternoon by a score of 7-0.
The Marauders fall to 3-13, while the Wildcats improve to 10-5.
MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
• Kelsey Heckert and Victoria Hanus won their flight three doubles match, 6-4, their second win of their last three doubles matches.
• Katina Jones and Jasmine Morris lost a very well-fought flight one doubles match, 7-5.
• Jones, the reigning PSAC East Athlete of the Week, also lost a very close flight one singles match, 7-6 (9-7), 6-2.

• "We carried that into singles pretty well. Wilmington is better than us, but we competed very well and I'm very pleased with how we played."
