GAME NOTES
• Millersville are reeling after losing a difficult away match up at No. 17 Mercy College over the weekend. The Marauders will look to get back on the right foot as the rest of their schedule features only Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference opponents starting with the Shippensburg Raiders.
• The Marauders want to get back to their goal scoring ways from the beginning of the season as they begin their push to the PSAC playoffs. Opponents held the Marauders to single digit goals in four of their last five games.
• Junior Sabrina Fusco leads the team with 20 goals and is second on the team with 11 assists. Fusco is tied with senior Renee Landis for most points on the team at 31. Fusco is the only Marauder that has scored in every single game this season.
•While Fusco leads the attack, Landis will be funneling shot opportunities to her teammates. Landis leads the team with 18 assists while also ranking second on the team with 13 goals.
• Three more Marauders scored double digit goals in the first half of the season. Senior Jamie Damirgian ranks third on the team with 12 goals, senior Taylor Davis is fourth with 11 and junior Callie Kavanaugh is fifth with 10 goals. Damirgian and Davis are lethal from the free-position. Davis is 6-7 and Damirigian is 5-of-6 on free-position shots.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
• The Raiders were picked to finished 13th in the PSAC preseason poll. Despite the team's above .500 record, they have struggled in conference play losing three of four conference games.
• Shippensburg struggled last week as they dropped two straight PSAC games. The Raiders will be desperate to end their overall and conference losing streak against the Marauders.
• Shippensburg sport a perfect record at away games, but the Marauders successfully defended home turf four out of five times this season.
• Shippensburg are capable of scoring lots of goals, but they have also been held to single digit goals in three games. Millersville can take advantage by clamping down on Shippensburg's three headed attack from Amanda Frank, Allison Fugate and Ali Harclerode. Frank, Fugate and Harclerode have all scored double digit goals this season.
• In total, Shippensburg has 12 players that have recorded goals this season.
