Millersville, Pa. - The Millersville men's soccer team volunteered their time and efforts to helping out at the Girls on the Run 5K this past Saturday.
The Marauders brought energy and enthusiasm into the cheer zones, which was invaluable in motivating the hundreds of third through eighth grade girls who ran the five kilometer distance. Additionally, the team was instrumental in the events clean-up process as their presence and efforts helped set a record clean-up time.
The Girls on the Run 5K gives the participants a tangible sense of achievement as well as a framework for setting and achieving life goals.
