Millersville to Host Lax4Life Game Saturday

Millersville, Pa. – On Saturday, April 2 the Millersville women's lacrosse team will host conference opponent Kutztown for the annual “Lax 4 Life” fund-raiser game. The two PSAC programs will participate in the effort to raise awareness and funding for adolescent suicide prevention.
Schools throughout all of Division II participate in Lax 4 Life to raise proceeds for the Allyson Rose Green Memorial Fund. The fund was founded three years ago after Allyson Green, former West Chester goalkeeper Mary Beth Green's younger sister, committed suicide.
Members of the teams will walk around the stands prior to and during the game on Saturday to collect donations for the worthwhile cause. More information on the Allyson Rose Green Memorial Foundation can be found here: www.allysonsfund.org.
Action between the Marauders and Golden Bears is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Saturday.
