Women's Lacrosse to Participate in Lax 4 Life

Millersville, Pa. – On Saturday March 27 Millersville hosts Gannon in a women's lacrosse Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference crossover game. The teams will be participating in the “Lax 4 Life” fund-raiser in an effort to raise awareness and funding for adolescent suicide prevention.
Members of the teams will be walking around the stands and collecting donations at halftime for the worthwhile cause.
Lax 4 Life was founded three years ago after Allyson Green, former West Chester goalkeeper Mary Beth Green's younger sister, committed suicide. Proceeds raised at the game will go toward the Allyson Fund.
Millersville participated in Lax 4 Life with the Shippensburg lacrosse team at the squads' game on March 17. More information on The Allyson Rose Green Memorial Foundation is available at www.allysonfund.org.
The match-up between Millersville and Gannon is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
