Dover, Del. - Delaware State handed the Millersville women's tennis team just its third defeat of the season Thursday in Dover, Del., sweeping both doubles and singles for a 9-0 win over the visiting Marauders.
It was the first time all season that Millersville failed to win at least one match in a daul. The Marauders' overall record falls to 5-3 with the loss while Delaware State remains perfect at 4-0.
Millersville now hits the road for a three-match swing through the state of West Virginia from Oct. 5-7. The trip includes matches against Charleston, West Virginia Wesleyan and West Liberty State.
