Among the most winning women's lacrosse coaches in NCAA history, Mike Faith became Millersville's head coach prior to the 2025 season and made an immediate impact on the Marauders' fortunes, leading them to the PSAC Tournament for the first time in three years.Â
Faith brought to Millersville 289 career wins, 13 NCAA Tournament appearances, seven conference championships, and an intimate, longstanding knowledge of the area lacrosse scene as he served as the head coach at Elizabethtown College for eight seasons before leading Franklin & Marshall’s program for 12. Faith coached Franklin & Marshall to 11 consecutive NCAA Tournament berths and national semifinal appearances in the last two seasons. In 2025, Faith guided the Marauders to a six-win improvement and 11-7 record, netting his 300th career win.

th among all active NCAA coaches, regardless of division.
Faith posted an outstanding 194-42 record at Franklin & Marshall, winning the Centennial Conference Championship five times and earning a national top 15 ranking each season. His teams were 87-7 (.926) in Centennial Conference play. Faith coached the Diplomats to the national semifinals in 2015, 2016, 2023, and 2024. They reached the national quarterfinals five times. He won 66 games over nationally ranked opponents.
From 2004-2012, Faith guided a major rebuild at Elizabethtown, leading the program to the postseason in seven of eight seasons, reaching the conference championship game five times. He coached Elizabethtown to its first Commonwealth Conference title, first NCAA Tournament bid and first NCAA Tournament win. His teams ranked in the IWLCA top 20 in each of his final four seasons with the Blue Jays.
A three-time Centennial Conference Coach of the Year, two-time Commonwealth Conference Coach of the Year, and three-time regional coach of the year, Faith is renowned for his ability to develop lacrosse players, producing six conference players of the year, eight conference defenders of the year, 40 IWLCA All-Americans, and 117 all-conference honorees.
Faith has served as a keynote speaker for the U.S. Lacrosse Convention. He was the national chair of the Division III All-America Committee for six years.
Before becoming a head coach, Faith was an assistant coach at the Division I level for the University of Maryland Baltimore County and the University of Richmond. An outstanding collegiate lacrosse player himself, Faith graduated from Salisbury University with a degree in health fitness in 1998 after earning All-America First Team honors, serving as a team captain, and winning the team MVP award. He also led the nation in assists as a player at St. Andrew's College.Â
