Men's tennis continues to struggle, swept by Edinboro

EDINBORO, Pa. - The Millersville University men's tennis team continued to face challenges in the spring season, falling 7-0 to the Edinboro Fighting Scots.
In doubles action, Adrian Weisser and Paul Bagnouls provided the closest contest of the day but fell 6-4. Sandor Wulf and Axel Duclos were defeated 6-2, while Daniel Ducheyne and Arrav Bharti dropped their match 6-0.
The Marauders were swept in singles play, with Milan Urbanek putting together the closest match before falling 6-4, 6-1. Wulf was defeated 6-0, 6-0, while Weisser battled in the opening set before dropping his match 6-3, 6-0. Bagnouls, Ducheyne, and Duclos all showed fight in their second sets but ultimately came up short in their matches.
"Edinboro is always very tough and this year is no different," said Matt Helsel. "They played well and that's why they are the defending conference champions."
The Marauders are back on their home courts March 31, when they host Kutztown at McComsey Courts.
