Singles wins not enough for men's tennis loss to the Tigers

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - The Millersville University men's tennis team came up just short in their final home match, falling 4-3 to Salem University. Sandor Wulf, Paul Bagnouls, and Arrav Bharti each battled through and won thrilling three-set singles matches, with Daniel Ducheyne and Bharti grabbing the lone doubles win.
Wulf and his partner Axel Duclos put up a strong fight in doubles, pushing their opponents before falling 7-5. Adrian Weisser and Bagnouls struggled in their match, dropping it 6-3. Ducheyne and Bharti secured just their second doubles win of the season with a solid 6-3 victory.
The Marauders showed resilience in singles play, battling throughout the lineup. Wulf responded after dropping his second set to secure a three-set win, 6-2, 3-6, 6-4. Bagnouls was also pushed to three sets, falling in a tight second-set tiebreak before bouncing back to take the third set 6-3. Bharti added another point with a 6-4, 6-3, 1(4)-0 victory. Weisser and Ducheyne remained competitive in their matches, while Duclos struggled, falling 6-4, 6-1.
The Marauders travel to Goucher College to face the Gophers on April 23rd.
