SCOUTING THE MARAUDERS
- Millersville is coming off a three-game sweep of Concord in which it outscored the opponent 28-5. The Marauders have experienced a power surge lately. Sammy Laux and Marco Pulizzi both hit their first home runs of the season on Sunday. Millersville has hit seven homers in the last six games with at least one homer in five of the games. Matthew Williams leads Millersville in nearly every offensive category, batting .448 with 19 runs, four homers, 20 RBIs, an .809 slugging percentage and .609 OBP. Williams leads the PSAC in OBP and OPS and ranks second in runs, RBIs and homers. He's gone 12 for 24 with 14 RBIs in Millersville's eight home games. Williams' 39 career home runs rank fourth among all active Division II players. He also ranks sixth among active players in career RBIs with 170. Williams already owns Millersville's home run record and is 12 away from tying the PSAC record. Williams is just 23 RBIs away from tying Luke Trainer '22 for the Millersville record. He is 32 away from the all-time PSAC record. Williams has also reached base safely in 29 consecutive games.
- Brady Ebbert has also enjoyed hitting at Cooper Park. In his eight games at home, he's hit .346 with three doubles and a home run. Ebbert ranks second on the team in OBP (.470), walks (14), and RBIs (17).
- On the mound, Rece Ritchey has turned in back-to-back stellar starts, totaling 12 strikeouts to two walks, seven hits and one unearned run allowed over 12 innings.
