MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - The Millersville men's and women's tennis programs, under the direction of
Matt Helsel, have been commended for their academic performance by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). Both teams received All-Academic Team distinction, and seven student-athletes on both teams earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors.
Programs named as an All-Academic Team must have a GPA of 3.2 or higher. The Millersville men's team achieved a 3.76 GPA in the spring semester (with a cumulative GPA of 3.62), ranking first among all PSAC tennis programs. The women's program posted a 3.70 GPA in the spring semester (3.59 cumulative), ranking third among Millersville's teams in 2025.
To be named to the All-Academic Team, student-athletes must have produced a GPA of 3.5 or higher for the academic year.
