BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – Sandor Wulf and Axel Duclos competed in this year's Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Atlantic Regional Championships held at Bloomsburg University. They faced competitors from the University of Charleston (WV), Fairmont State, Bluefield State College, and West Liberty University with many other universities in attendance.*

In singles play, Wulf and Duclos faced strong competition from Charleston University in the main bracket. Wulf was defeated by Marcelo Pinto with scores of 6-4 and 6-1, while Duclos fell to Omar Elsamahy in a closely contested first set, ultimately losing 7(7)-6 and 6-1. In doubles, the duo moved into the consolation bracket after an 8-3 loss.

"We had a good weekend," said Millersville coach Matt Helsel, "I'm looking forward to our first home match of the year on Tuesday." 

The Marauders are back in action Tuesday, Oct 7 at 2 p.m. when they host the Firebirds from the University of the District of Columbia at McComsey Tennis Courts.
