HOW IT HAPPENED
Millersville controlled possession early, generating four shots and two penalty corners in the opening quarter, but Frostburg goalkeeper Emma Price stood strong in the cage. The Bobcats broke through within the first minute after the halftime break when Emma Price scored the first goal of the game to give Frostburg a 1–0 halftime lead.
Frostburg extended its lead shortly after halftime, with Paige Leitzel finding the back of the cage twice within a 10-minute span. The Bobcats added an insurance goal in the fourth quarter as Price netted her second of the afternoon, assisted by Leitzel, to secure the 4–0 final.
Despite several attacking pushes in the final frame, Millersville was unable to capitalize, as Frostburg's defense and goalkeeper held firm to preserve the shutout.
