Three Marauders named CSC Academic All-District®

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - Brady Russell, Makai Self, and Zac Shelley of the Millersville University football program have been named to the 2024 Academic All-District® Football team.
The team, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC), recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Student-athletes must be a starter and hold a cumulative 3.50 GPA to be eligible.
Self completed his second season as a graduate student in sports management after transferring from Towson. A two-time PSAC Scholar-Athlete, Self played in eight games in 2023, recording 24 tackles and a sack.
Shelley, in his fourth year with the program, started 33 consecutive games at right guard over three seasons. He blocked the for an All-PSAC East running back in all three years. He majors in applied engineering and technology management.
Russell, a third-year sophomore tight end, is a computer science major. He set career highs in yards, receptions and touchdown catches in his first season as a full-time starter for the Marauders.
