
'Ville women's tennis drops road dual to Mercyhurst

ERIE, Pa. - The Millersville women's tennis dropped a 6-1 decision to Mercyhurst Saturday in non-conference action.
Millersville's lone win came from Kelsey Heckert at No. 5 singles.
The Marauders fell to 4-5 with the loss while Mercyhurst, winner of three in a row, improved to 5-7.
MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
• Mercyhurst won all three doubles matches and the took five of the six singles matches in straight sets. Heckert prevented the shutout by defeating Valentine Budin, 7-6 (7-4), 6-4.
• Heckert's win improved her to 5-3 in singles.

• Millersville stays in western Pennsylvania to take on Edinboro on Sunday.
