
Millersville women's tennis gets road win over Edinboro

ERIE, Pa. - The Millersville women's tennis team completed a weekend in Erie with a 6-1 road win over Edinboro.
The win pushed Millersville's record back to .500 on the season at 5-5 while Edinboro fell to 6-4.
Millersville swept the doubles matches and won five of six in singles. It marks just the second time this season that Millersville has won six points in a match. Millersville has won each of the last two meetings with Edinboro.
MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
• Julie Wallace and Noelle Htwar boosted their doubles record to 8-8 on the season, snapping a three-match skid with a 6-0 shutout of Vidisha Pallamreddy and Rafaella D Almeida. Jasmine Morris and Kelsey Heckert won 6-1 in the No. 2 spot, and Maria Ojeda and Chloe Abrahmowitz earned a 6-3 win in the No. 3 flight.
• Edinboro picked up its lone point with a win at No. 1 singles, but Millersville received straight-set victories from Ojeda (No. 2), Htwar (No. 3), Wallace (No. 4), Heckert (No. 5) and Abramowitz (No. 6).

• Millersville plays its first home dual since the fall of 2021 on Saturday, March 26. The dual with Bloomsburg marks the start of PSAC East play.
