MILLERSVILLE, Pa. — The Millersville University women's tennis team put up a spirited fight but ultimately fell to Davis & Elkins 4-2 on Saturday. The match commenced on Friday but was delayed to Saturday due to rain.
The loss was the first of Millersville's season and dropped the team to 2-1. The Marauders secured points at No. 1 and No. 5 singles after Davis & Elkins claimed the doubles point with victories at No. 2 and No. 3.
