INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
Â
From Head Coach Brian Smith
On the first sweep of the season:
"We talked about a sweep this week. We noted in all our previous wins we still gave up a set. So sweeping Lock Haven was good for this young team. We dug a hole in set two but didn't panic and come back to win that one."
Â
On solid matches on back-to-back days:
"The whole weekend was positive for this team. We played a seasoned Bloomsburg team with lots of upperclassman and lost a nail biter, but we are gaining confidence and focusing on improving ourselves."
Â
On the positives from Saturday:
"In the Lock Haven win Caitlyn, Lauren and Kylie had solid numbers and Caitlyn was a disruptive force at the net. We have been working on and stressing the reduction of our unforced hitting errors and we did a good job with that today."
