Men's tennis sweeps Virginia State University, 7-0

Box Score Millersville, Pa. - The Millersville University men's tennis team cruised to its fourth win of its last five matches on Saturday afternoon, sweeping Virginia State University, 7-0.

The Marauders improve to 6-13, while the Trojans fall to 1-6-1. 

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
• Carlos Martinez-Lucas and Peter Landis won their flight one doubles match, 6-0, and then Rodrigo Lorencin and Frank Yanni clinched the doubles point for Millersville with a 6-2 win at flight two doubles.
• None of the singles matches went to a third set. Martinez-Lucas won at flight one, 6-4, 6-2, and Yanni won at flight two, 6-1, 6-3. Ben Fellman was victorious at flight three, 6-3, 6-0, while Jose Alcazar and Pearson Clary won at flight four and five, respectively, by the same score of 6-1, 6-1. 

NOTES
• This marks the Marauders' second sweep of the season.
• Millersville now leads the all-time series against Virginia State University, 2-1. 

UP NEXT
• The Marauders are back in action tomorrow when they travel to Sheperdstown, W.Va. and face UVA-Wise at 7 a.m. followed by a 3 p.m. match against Shepherd.
