Men's Tennis swept by Jefferson in home opener

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - The Millersville University's men's tennis team fell in their spring home opener to Thomas Jefferson University, extending the Marauders' losing streak to five matches. The Rams swept the Marauders 7–0.
In doubles play, Sandor Wulf and Axel Duclos were the only pair to put up a strong fight, narrowly falling 7–6 (5). Arrav Bharti and Daniel Ducheyne dropped their match 6–3, while Paul Bagnouls and Adrian Weisser were defeated 6–0.
Duclos was the only Marauder to remain competitive in singles, falling 6–4, 6–3. Urbanek showed resilience in the second set but ultimately lost 6–0, 6–3. Bagnouls battled in the opening set before dropping his match 6–4, 6–0, while Wulf, Weisser, and Bharti struggled in their respective matches.
The Marauders are back in action March 25, when they host the Golden Rams from West Chester at McComsey Tennis Courts.
